So if you were like, I don't want to use 16-bit for anything and try to make the game a 16-bit experience for PC and Mac, it would be very hard to do that. We're talking an hour of performance for a single bit of graphics and then 16 pixels.
Now, even at the lowest bits of 16-bit, things are getting better:
If the player only wants to see the 1st pixel, they can have up to 8, but they can only have as many as they want, and they have to scroll the screen up to see it.

On the other side of the argument, mining giant BHP Billiton said it was "very excited" about its role in the project.
"At the heart of the project is the idea of a new water supply line linking the world's largest iron mine with water bodies in Queensland," the company said in a statement.
"As with all new infrastructure projects there are risks. One being the potential for the potential loss of groundwater.
"In general, there is a general acceptance that the risks associated with new and large-scale infrastructure projects are well-understood by the private sector."

The official said the government will also include in the policy that those people who have paid pensions will be able to withdraw their entitlements under the new scheme within 10 years of retiring, in addition to the existing 8-15 year grace period.
To be eligible to withdraw entitlements, a person has to have had a life time of 15 or more years or been married and that person can be retired after 30 years. This is known as life tenure allowance.
Some state governments were also asked to propose changes to their own pension schemes so that this was possible.
There are also plans to amend pensions by using biometric identification for all of the new employees and some in the industry are also proposing to put in place a public service pension, which would replace state pensions to be made available for the country as a whole.
The proposal comes after a similar effort led by the government to reduce costs across the country was delayed following financial impasse.
